WE DID IT !!!!

The VERY (Over 12 hours !) long journey home.

We're at the top of Ben Nevis - The highest mountain in Scotland !!!

WE'VE DONE IT WE'VE COMPLETED THE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE !!

(Well there is still the small matter of getting back down again - but despite sore feet and painful swollen knees we all make it back down safetly)

Ben Nevis - Peak no 3

3.30 am - We take the Achinee footpath to Johns Wall corner the zig zag to the top. Once again the weather is wonderful, but its a long and arduous trek.
We are warned repeatedly to stay clear of the gullies near the top - We don't want to loose anyone !

The Summit of Scafell Pike !! The highest mountain in England

At approx 4pm we get the the summit after scrambling over HUGE boulders - It really was a tough one and we have yet to get back down again !

Scafell Pike - Peak no 2

Its Friday lunchtime and were ready for the off. We walk up Grains Ghyll to Great End then over Calf Cove along the ridge past Broad Crag. Even though this is the smallest of the 3 peaks it is known as being the most difficult ! Its a wonderful sunny day despite being in the wettest part of the UK !

Its only 3am !!! Next stop Scafell pike.

Its nearly midnight and time to get those headtorches on!

Otford Fete - Bank Holiday Monday 26th May

No rest for the wicked.................... atfer training on Sunday we were back out on Monday fundraising at the Otford fete !!

Despite the persistant rain a great day was had by all raising money with Brucies 'Play your cards right, pick the prize lollipop and bucket collections !
